Please note that we do not diagnose mental health conditions or guarantee specific outcomes from our therapy sessions.
Use of the Site and Services
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site and Services. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

Client-Therapist Relationship
1. Therapeutic Alliance
The relationship between the therapist and client is a professional relationship aimed at supporting the client’s mental health and well-being. This relationship is built on mutual respect, confidentiality, and trust.
2. Confidentiality
All information shared during therapy sessions is kept confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties without your explicit consent, except where required by law (e.g., if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others). Client records will be kept for a period of seven years after the last contact, in accordance with the standards of the National Council for Integrative Psychotherapy (NCIP) and legal requirements, and will then be securely disposed of.
3. Boundaries
The client-therapist relationship is strictly professional. Any form of dual relationship that could impair the therapist's objectivity, professional judgement, or therapeutic effectiveness is avoided.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that circumstances may arise that require you to cancel your appointment. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
1. 24-Hour Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to the full cost of the session.
2. No-Show Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment and have not provided the required 24-hour notice, you will be charged the full cost of the session.
Payments and Refunds
1. Payment Terms
You agree to pay all fees associated with the Services in accordance with the payment terms specified at the time of booking. All payments are due at the time of service unless otherwise specified.
2. Refund Policy
Payments for Services are non-refundable except as required by law or as otherwise stated in these Terms.
Disclaimer
Our Services are intended to provide support and guidance. However, we do not diagnose mental health conditions or guarantee specific outcomes. The effectiveness of therapy varies from person to person, and while we strive to provide the best possible care, results cannot be guaranteed.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Emma Garrick or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content from the Site without our prior written permission.
Limited Liability
Except as expressly provided in this agreement, Emma Garrick makes no guarantees, representations, or warranties of any kind or nature, express or implied, with respect to the services negotiated, agreed upon, and rendered. In no event shall Emma Garrick be liable to the Client for any indirect, consequential, or special damages. Notwithstanding any damages that the Client may incur, Emma Garrick's entire liability under this Agreement, and the Client's exclusive remedy, shall be limited to the amount actually paid by the Client to Emma Garrick under this Agreement for all coaching services rendered through and including the termination date.

If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the date at the top of these Terms and, in some cases, we may provide additional notice (such as adding a statement to our homepage or sending you a notification).
